Welcome!

My name is Mohammad Afshar. I was born in Tehran, Iran, March 21 1983. I got my B.Sc . in Electrical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic). I am studying Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics at School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran.

I’m looking for a Ph.D. position in the area of Social Networks, Collective Behaviors, Complex Networks, or related area.

Currently I am working on computational modeling of spreading process in social networks. My thesis is under supervision of Dr. Masoud Asadpour. I’m studying the effects of personalities on spreading information and behaviors in social networks. I’m also working on computational modeling of collective behaviors in animals, such as seasonal migration.
